Sherif Elgazzaz is an Art Therapy Consultant, theatre practitioner, and cultural programs director with over 20 years of experience in art-based workshops, theatrical training, and community-centered creative initiatives.
Extended Bio
As the founder of the first theatre team in Dahab, he has led and directed numerous performances addressing social awareness and psychosocial empowerment. His latest theatrical production, “Khalli Balak”, was supported by UN Women and the National Council for Women in Egypt. Sherif has implemented art therapy and theatre-based interventions with homeless children and vulnerable communities, and has participated in international festivals and artistic collaborations in Morocco, Ukraine, the UAE, Italy, Tunisia, and Baghdad. He is deeply committed to preserving cultural heritage, empowering communities through creativity, and using art as a transformative tool for healing and social change.
